Bluesy Rock X Nice Ride Clothing – Meet Christopher Shayne

Quick drums and a groovy riff throws us straight into the southern rock band Christopher Shayne’s partnership with NiceRide where the new brand’s clothing line is set on display with the band’s sheer talent and pure musicality. Shouting throughout the song, “Nice ride, nice life” the band emphasizes their morals – with flashy guitar bits and a catchy bass line – of being easygoing and making exciting memories throughout your life. The band elaborately creates a song around the vibes of summer to amplify the NiceRide lifestyle and clothing.

NiceRide owner Chris Merziotis shares, “The music and lyrics exemplify living the ‘niceridelife.’ The video’s vision brought to life one of the song’s lyrics, ‘When you have had enough pop the throttle open wide and leave it all behind.’”

However, the combination of the two reads as nothing less than an amazing visual to an amazing song, rather than perhaps a corny sponsorship. Nothing within the video or song comes off as forced and unnatural. The sponsorship flows as seemingly flawless.

Check out where you can find the song here.

Beer, riding around in jeeps, and partying, are the core elements of NiceRide’s visual made to accommodate the song. Featuring Instagram influencers, the video pulls together a story meant to fit Shayne’s music and NiceRide’s moto. Since 2013 the brand has preached the more significant and often overlooked parts of our lives, family, friends, and fun.

Shayne clarified to Vents Magazine, “NiceRide’ was written with fun in mind. We wanted something upbeat with a good groove,” he continued, “The song is really about letting go and carrying that feeling with you wherever you are. The video took our concept and our ideas and really ran with it. It’s got all the makings of good time.”

The song carries throughout it a consistent spunkiness while staying authentic to Christopher Shayne’s previous sounds. The spunkiness is executed by vocalist Mark Blades and his unique voice. Shayne and Lansing have been writing songs together for 10 years and it shows through stunning musicality and the catchiness of the single. The band shows hints of bluesy, loud rock, the kind that you can’t resist falling in love with.

Shayne sounds something similar to Pearls and Brass or ZZ Top however they still stay original to their own sound and continue to create distinctive and captivating music.

“He and I will throw riffs at each other, or song ideas or concepts,” Shayne explains about writing earlier EP Ten High. “We both have in-home studios. We will go back and forth with a lot of Zoom calls lately just to see what sticks.”

I can’t wait to hear more from them. Find their socials and links below to follow them along their journey with us. Great to hear more wonderful music from another wonderful band.

“I want to deliver something that people out in the world have both heard and not heard before, in a way that everybody can grasp onto,” SHAYNE explains. “That’s my personal goal. As an artist, I want to take those ideas and really remind people what guitar harmonies and passionate vocals sound like in a real rock setting. I want to develop something musically that feels like home but is still kind of fresh.”
