White Rabbit released their EP in 2020 titled “Natural Disaster.” The album was filled with the band’s sheer talent. Everything was on point, from the show-stopping guitarist to the heavy backbeat provided by drummer Hondo. The group’s chemistry bled through their work heavily. They’ve been together for an astounding eleven years in which they perfected their sound.
Brandon (Lead Singer/Rhythm Guitarist) put together the group after arising from a broken-up band at just ten years old. “It took one practice for us to figure out that we were all in the right place, regardless of where we came from. And here we are 11 years later,” he told me.
When it comes to rock in general, they love everything. The group hardly has the power to dislike a band. They enjoy anything from punk to blues. Inspiration wise, the band gravitates towards the Dead Kennedys, Black Flag, Pink Floyd, Tool, AC/DC, Guns N’ Roses, Motley Crüe, Metallica, and The Ramones. In other words, all the really good shit. “We really try to emulate that punk energy, metal badass-ness, and rock n’ roll grit in our music and in our live shows. It’s fun, it’s real, and it’s something we think people deserve to hear.”
The album begins with the fully charged, heavy ‘N.S.A..’ I dug everything about the piece, from the dark tone provided by Brandon to the genius guitarist Corbin. To see this performed live would be ear-shattering and nothing sort of amazing.
‘Stop Me’ blew my bloody mind. The guitar solos were show-stopping. The piece held loads of contagious animation in a pleasant three minutes. It was overall skull-shaking. I enjoyed the beginning with its ever-increasing energy. The backbeat was striking and extremely captivating. The same goes for the profound vocals and shredding guitars. Overall, the piece screams, “Kiss my ass, fuckers.”
The song ‘Insane’ takes quite a subtle shift. It was a delicate and precise change of demeanor. I was quite shocked. The song was engaging and extremely pleasing. The visuals for the music video tell a vast story. I bloody loved the song as well as the video. It drives me quite insane.
The EP to me was unforgettable, five stars. It wasn’t exactly the sheer talent of the group that drove me to fancy their music. Nor was it the quality of their work. It was that they are extraordinary entertainers.
