Ronnie Turner, who passed away at the age of 62, was remembered by Tina Turner as her “loving son.”
The 83-year-old singer said that her son had “gone the earth way too early” in an online statement.
Ronnie Turner passed away on December 8th after allegedly having health problems in the past.
He had success as a musician, performing with the band Manufactured Funk, and he also appeared in the biopic about his mother What’s Love Got to Do With It from 1993.
In honor of her son, Tina Turner shared a black and white portrait on Instagram on Friday.
“Ronnie, you left the world far too early. In sorrow I close my eyes and think of you, my beloved son,” the singer captioned the photo.
Ronnie Turner was the singer’s son with ex-husband Ike Turner.
Craig Turner, the oldest child she had with guitarist Raymond Hill, committed suicide in 2018.
