A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, a rapper from the Bronx, has released his fourth studio album, titled Me vs. Myself. Boogie revealed that he would be delaying the album’s release to avoid competing with Drake and 21 Savage’s Her Loss, even though the album was originally scheduled for release in November.
The rapper has back one month later with 22 tracks spread spanning just over an hour. After starting the album with “Food for Thought,” Boogie and Roddy Ricch collaborated on “B.R.O.” Later on in the album, there are two Lil Durk collaborations, as well as appearances by G Herbo and H.E.R.
Most excitingly, Boogie and Kodak Black reunite for “Water (Drowning 2),” a follow-up to their 2017 hit song “Drowning,” which included the legendary original track.
“This feels like my best project in that way where I can really listen to something in the car, something in the crib at the same time I was going out, still hearing it in the club,” Boogie told Apple Music 1’s, Zane Lowe. “This is my favorite vibe right now.”
Before the album’s headline tour begins on February 7 in Denver, Colorado, Boogie will perform a one-night-only, sold-out performance on December 16 at Harlem’s renowned Apollo Theatre.
