‘Sunflower’ the Biggest Song Ever

Post Malone and Swae Lee have cemented themselves in the books with the highest-certified single in RIAA history. The duo’s collaborative track “Sunflower” has been certified 17-times platinum with 2.4 billion streams worldwide.

The song was initially created for the 2018 animated film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse’s soundtrack. Malone’s third studio album, Hollywood’s Bleeding, also features it. At the 62nd GRAMMY Awards in 2020, the song received a nomination for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.

“Old Town Road” remix by Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus, which has received 16 platinum certifications, was surpassed by “Sunflower” in terms of sales.

A little over four months after its March 2019 release, “Sunflower” first achieved platinum status. Since then, it has exponentially gained listeners, going from 11-times platinum to its current certification around this time last year.

According to Post, he has witnessed “Sunflower” cheer up the downtrodden and increase the joy of the joyful. The song dominated at No. 1 in a number of nations and has nearly surpassed two billion views on YouTube.

Malone also has a song with multi-platinum certification that is competing for the number one spot. Congratulations, his song with Quavo, has been certified 14 times platinum, tying for fourth place.
