Hard Rocker Turned Surgeon?

Dan Jones, a former guitarist for the band Chelsea Grin, was recently accepted into a residency program at Weill Cornell Medicine in New York City to practice as an overall specialist.

Jones revealed in 2015 that he will not fulfill his visiting responsibilities with Chelsea Grin, instead; focusing on microbial mercury methylation at an inherited qualities lab during the middle of the year. In 2017, he left the gathering for good and went on a hunt for these various desires.

All of the hard work and assurance has paid off, and Jones announced on Twitter on March 15 that he had coordinated a surgical procedure in general and would know where his residency would take place soon. After five days, he confirmed his residency at Cornell University in New York City and expressed gratitude to everyone who voiced support for him during his journey. Jones had tweeted his excitement for his role in the wonder of labor a little more than a year ago, calling the experience “awesome.”

Jones left Chelsea Grin in 2017 after appearing on the group’s first four albums, Desolation of Eden (2010), My Damnation (2011), Ashes to Ashes (2014), and Self Inflicted (2015). (2016). Stephen Rutishauser, his replacement, appeared on Self Inflicted in 2015 and has remained with Chelsea Grin ever since.
