Rhino Records recently announced Fleetwood Mac’s deluxe album ‘Live.’ It made its initial debut in the late 1980s and will be available later this year. Major Fleetwood Mac fans – like myself – are practically shitting their pants as we speak. The 3 CD and 2 LP vinyl edition will be purchasable by April 9th. However, most pre-orders are available now.
‘Live‘ was recorded by one of the most astounding British rock bands between 1977 and 1982 at Richfield Coliseum, Cleveland. It was the first live album from the 70’s line-up of the band. The now singles – of which reached the top 10 in Austria – “One More Night,” “Fireflies,” and the well-harmonized “The Farmer’s Daughter” are included in the album as demos. Much more is involved in the remastered collection.
“Then and now, Fleetwood Mac Live artfully marks a fascinating time period for a group that, in one form or another, has been on the global stage for more than half a century. It’s a wildly entertaining rock’n’roll circus in full swing under a big tent of the band’s own creation as they leave audiences dazzled in locales from Paris, France, to Passaic, New Jersey.”
