Ex-Kyuss Members Debut “A Million Beers” From “Totally…”

Former Kyuss members Nick Oliveri and Brant Bjork and drummer Ryan Güt, form the desert rock trio Stoner, who have released their second album, Totally…, and a new single, “A Million Beers.”

With a song called “A Million Beers” and an album cover depicting a sliced pepperoni pizza, it’s evident that the stereotyped priorities of both stoners and a band named Stoner are in check and that the smoke-filled fantasy is alive and well.

Stoner gives us a sub-three-minute cut full of buzzing bass lines, furious and aggressive drumming, and flowing guitar lines that linger like heat waves in the distance on the nervous first taste of Totally…

“What happens if you take Little Richard and Jerry Lee Lewis to the desert for a weekend getaway?” Bjork joked about the song. I’m not sure, but it’ll probably entail a million beers!”

Listen to the song below, and scroll down to see the album art and tracklisting for Totally… The album will be released via Heavy Psych Sounds on May 6th, and you can pre-order your copy here.
