Bam Margera Shares Update After Released From Hospital

On Saturday, December 10, Bam Margera updated his followers on Instagram to let them know that he is now fine and has been discharged from the hospital after a recent fight with pneumonia.

Margera said “I’m out” as she posed for a picture with a friend “Thank you to my friends, and family, and you for the love, support, and prayers.” Even though Bam had just been hospitalized, he had been testing negative for COVID and was on the road to recovery, anticipating to be released soon, according to an update uploaded to his Instagram the day before Bam’s posting.

According to a TMZ report, Bam Margera from the Jackass movies has been admitted to the hospital. According to reports, the stuntman is currently being treatment for “a very bad case of pneumonia.”

Bam was hospitalized in San Diego earlier this week, according to sources speaking to TMZ. The stuntman has apparently been on a ventilator ever since he reportedly tested positive for COVID-19 while he was in the hospital, according to the sources. Margera’s status was described as stable despite the fact that he was allegedly in the intensive care unit.

The 43-year-old Margera, who completed a one-year program at a drug and alcohol treatment center back in the spring, has had a difficult year. While things seemed to be going well for the stuntman and his family at first, things quickly turned sour when the musician suffered a broken wrist after a nasty fall at a skatepark. He then tried to avoid medications.

Margera was sent back to rehab and went missing in June. He was ultimately located by police in a neighboring hotel, where they and a crisis intervention team were successful in convincing him to return voluntarily. Margera’s family conducted an intervention after he went missing once more later in the month and was ultimately discovered in a few local bars.

Margera’s family expressed their worry that Bam had been placed in a conservatorship in an official statement they released in August, following the beginnings of the “Free Bam” online movement.

“Despite rumors, Bam has never been in conservatorship but rather a temporary healthcare guardianship for reasons not shared with the public. If Bam chooses to speak to this, he will when he is ready. The ‘Free Bam’ theorists have encouraged his exit from treatment, despite their lacking knowledge of the details, his health, and well-being,” stated the family, adding, “We kindly ask you to respect the process and our family. As our extended family, we ask you to support Bam in his recovery, to stay on track, and wish him well with his sobriety.” Since then, Margera was spotted partying in Atlanta and Las Vegas.
